Tucson Artists’ Open Studios:

Date: Saturday, March 13 & 14

Time: 11 AM – 5 PM

Place: TIARC (Tucson International Alliance for Refugee Communities), located at 4224 E Grant Road.

Description: We are proud to announce that Iskash*taa Refugee Harvesting Network and our Tucson Refugee Sewing and Crafts Circle will be participating in the Spring 2010 Tucson Artists' Open Studios. This city-wide event feature artists from all mediums opening their studios to the public. We will be at our “studio, Come see our refugee artisans in action as they sew, weave and crochet their original and unique art, including Burundi baskets, fashionable handbags, rugs and more! We will have a wide selection of crafts available for purchase.

4th Avenue Street Fair:

             Date: Friday, March 19, 20, 21 

Time: 10AM-6PM.

Place: 4Th Avenue Street

Description: It’s that time of year again! The spring 4th Avenue Street Fair. Iskash*taa will be selling refugee crafts and local food products on the patio of The B Line Restaurant. This megatabling event takes lots of volunteers in order to be a success. Stop by and help us out for few hours on any of the three days, then go enjoy the rest of the fair.
